Privacy is very important to everyone. This page explains how the site affects your privacy.
User-provided information:
- A user that wishes to use the lottery number tracking features of the site will need to provide
an email address and password. This email address is not verified (at this time) before enabling
the user profile. As such, there is no proof that the email address belongs to any specific person.
- A user that wishes to use the lottery number tracking features will provide lottery numbers that
have been played on specific dates. These numbers will be compared to numbers that the application
has retrieved from third parties and believes to be
correct and will indicate matches based on that information.
System-acquired information:
- As with most modern web sites, page accesses are logged using your network address. This information
is used to generate traffic statistic reports for the web site. An in-memory (temporary) record is used to track
your requests and will not be retained on your computer after closing your browser.
- When logged in to the web site, your account ID is stored in memory to identify that you are currently
logged in. This record is deleted after 20 minutes of idle time.
- If a user chooses the "Remember Me" option when logging in, a file is saved to the user's computer that
will be used by the web browser to identify the user on future visits. This file contains the user's
database ID and registered email address. No sensitive data is stored in this file.
Usage of user-provided information:
- 700cb Lottery may implement a feature to automatically email users when their numbers result in
a potential win. This feature will be opt-in in nature.
- 700cb Lottery and 700cb Development will not share any user information with any third party and
will not use any user information for solicitation purposes.
- The "Forgot Password" feature can verify that a particular email address is registered with the
application. This does not neccesarily prove that a particular owner of an email address is a
user of the application since email addresses are not verified.
Usage of system-acquired information:
- Information on most frequent pages accessed, most active days and times, and total number of accesses
will be used to determine the quality and performance of the web site. Information on location of
visitors will be used to determine range of use of the application. All information is viewed in
aggregate and is considered anonymous.
